Аргентинское танго – танец, рожденный в бедных кварталах Буэнос-Айреса в конце 19 века, уже в 30-х годах 20-го века облетел весь мир.
Танго и сегодня не теряет своей актуальности, но при этом строго хранит вековые традиции. Этот танец уже перестал быть только аргентинским. 1 октября 2009-го года Аргентинское танго вошло в список нематериального культурного наследия ЮНЕСКО. Танго – это не просто танец, это философия отношений между людьми, это эмоциональная связь между танцующими и музыкой.

Since 1977, December 11, the birthday of the Argentine singer, songwriter, composer and film actor, the famous "King of Tango" Carlos Gardel, is celebrated as the International Tango Day.
Argentine tango is a social dance originating at the end of 19th century in the suburbs of Buenos Aires and Montevideo, already in the 30s of the 20th century it has spread throughout the world.
Your code is here Tango today does not lose its relevance, but respects it’s century-old traditions. This dance has ceased an purely Argentinian. October 1, 2009, the Argentinian tango was included on UNESCO’s list of intangible cultural heritage of Humanity.
Tango is much more than just a social dance, it signifies a certain philosophy and defines the type of human relationship, it is an emotional bond between the dancers and the music.
Tango remains the only dance defined by it’s own codes of behavior and rules of conduct on the dance floor, based on mutual respect and set of regulations called Kodigos, established in the 20-30s of the twentieth century and respected untill now.
YARAT Contemporary Art Center and E.L. CLUB de TANGO invites you to celebrate the International Day of Tango together, learn more about the history of tango, enjoy music and dance, and, of course, try dancing.
