A prominent theater critic and researcher Marina Davydova will explore the ways in which modern theater is changing and will try to define a direction that this progress is taking. Davydova’s analysis will be based on will stem from concrete examples of performances of the "post-dramatic theatre".
Marina Davydova is a Russian theatre historian, a Ph.D. in History of Arts, teacher, critic, editor-in-chief of "The theatre" magazine, member of the jury of the Golden Mask Award and art director of the NET festival. She graduated from the theater department of GITIS-a and continued her postgraduate studies at the State Institute of Art Studies (course leader: I. N. Solovyova).
